Moms and Tots Valentines Party
Warm up your hearts this February with a moms and tots Valentine's Party. Join us on Friday, February 10th at 3:00 p.m. at the home of one of our members. Kids can decorate valentines and make heart shaped cookies, while moms can supervise and enjoy some wine!

Book Club
Join our new book club! The group will meet the first Wednesday of every month at a Club member's home. The inaugural meeting will be on Wednesday, March 7th to discuss The Other Wes Moore by Wes Moore and/or The Glass Castle or Half Broke Horses by Jeanette Walls. (Normally, just one book is selected each month. Monthly Book Ideas for the rest of the year will be discussed at this meeting. Be a part of the selection process!)
Also, we are still looking for a group moderator. This is a very easy position, where you will just be coordinating new members of the book club, and communicating about meeting dates, etc.

We hope you have recovered from your busy holiday schedules and have settled back into a normal routine. Holiday decorations have most likely been put away by now, and we're starting to wonder when we'll see spring. To fight some of the winter blues, we have scheduled a great month of activities.
Interested in getting more involved? We would like to invite anyone interested in learning more about volunteering with the Newcomers' Club to our upcoming Board meetings. We have several positions opening in the fall, and we are looking for members who are interested in taking a more active role. Being on the board is a great way to be social and meet even more people. We hope you'll come check us out! Please email Katie if you're interested in attending, or if you have any questions. Our next Board meetings are scheduled for Tuesday, February 28th and Tuesday, March 27th at 8pm.
